Ed Leclere


From a career in themed construction and marketing and a passion for events, Ed Leclere honed his event management skills as one of the contributors to the formation of what AZ Bike Week is today.

Before starting Motorsports Entertainment LLC, Mr. Leclere worked as Promotion Director for Harley-Davidson 20 plus years.

His career includes producing and promoting special events and concerts/festivals across the US and Mexico, and has strong relationships with performing artists including: Charlie Daniels, Jackyl, The Guess Who, Puddle of Mudd, Gin Blossoms, Bret Michaels and many others. Ed Leclere has developed events small to large, and has personally worked and managed every aspect from planning and advance work to setup and even acting as stage MC.


Ed Leclere also hosts and promotes music and events during his own weekly radio show on the Star Worldwide Networks.

Larry Shields

VP, Director of Entertainment

Larry Shields holds numerous amazing qualities, that stand out about his role with MSE, as he’s dedicated, devoted, demanding, destined, and determined on delivering and servicing live entertainment experiences via talent programming, event promotions and marketing, strategic brand activations, and event production. Having produced many events featuring a spectrum of genres of music, he’s harnessed both Artist and fan experiences above any expectation, while creating multi-cultural outlets that become lifestyle and destination events for tourism and hospitality.

Larry oversees all aspects of the “Event Programming,” for Motorsports Entertainment, and takes his role with the upmost professionalism. Over the past 20 years and prior to being instrumental in the development of MSE, he was an exceptional and highly talented Artist Booking Agent & Talent Liaison in the Music Divisions for both industry giants, William Morris Agency (now WME) and The Agency Group (now UTA.) Having understood Tour/Event Management, Talent Booking, and Festival Production he knew he was being equipped to bring Live Event Experiences beyond expectations!

Melissa “Missi” Hughes

Director, PR/Sponsorship

Known for her ability to create event experiences unique to the needs of her wide variety of clientele, Missi has been part of the MSE Team as a event/marketing for over 10 years, and part of the music, event and not-for-profit circle for over 20 years.

Her Scottsdale-Ariz.-based company, Two Gals Event Planning /Two Gals Events & Promotions, has been a driving force behind aspects of donor, sponsor and philanthropic efforts. Prior to Two Gals, Ms. Hughes was CEO of Artist Development at Pure Artistry, where she helped to develop local, national and upcoming artists.  Hughes also provides ongoing counsel to groups with regard to strategic planning initiatives for future endeavors and undertakings.

Ms. Hughes is deeply committed to her community. She sits on the Boards of the Illinois Jacquet Foundation and  Bikers For Boobies AZ. Some of her clients include but are not limited to Harley-Davidson dealerships, World Famous Saloons and establishments.

Ms. Hughes specializes in non-profits fundraising events, corporate events, concerts, festivals, accumulate donations, sponsorship, and increasing attendance for events. She is also fluent in promoting events, sponsors and businesses thru social media, websites, launches, market research and saturation, she also assist in promotional campaigns strategic planning initiatives, vendor relations, public relations and more.

Joel Frieberg

Director, Production

Joel Freiberg has been involved in the entertainment industry for over 40 years starting with his involvement in community theater at the ripe old age of 9 all the way through the present day providing technical services for video, audio and lighting productions.

Joel has spent many years working with or providing technical support for artist such as, MC Hammer, Bad Company, Meagadeth, Testament, Judas Priest, REO Speedwagon, Jeffery Osborne, George Duke, George Clinton, Diane Reeves, Najee, Kenny G, Gerald Albright and even a short stint with the great Andrea Bocelli.

Joel has also brought live production expertise to Antigua, Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, Argentina, Brasil, Venezuela, St. Lucia, The Bahamas , Sweden and many more countries around the world.

Born in Erie, PA, and raised in Solon, Ohio Joel has all of the great Midwestern values like a great work ethic and honesty that are necessary to be a good leader. Joel now calls South Florida his home, and he has become a valuable part of digital, live, and recording entertainment industry community.

Jim Moore

Director, Vendors

Jim Moore: Jim has attended events of every size in most of the States. He has been at Sturgis over 30 times, Daytona 18 times, Laconia 4 times, ROT in Austin Texas to Hollister in California. He has had the pleasure of being the Emcee of many events, been a promoter, a vendor, Bike Show winner and Charity Run Organizer.

Mr. Moore currently sits on the Board of Directors of 3 Charities and organizes the events and will Emcee and run the Charity Auctions. Along with that he is the Exec, Vice President of the Arizona Biker Information Guide, and HAS co-stared on the History Channels “Biker Battleground” and the “Misty and Kristy Show” on the Heartland Channel.

Jim has participated in the business arena of the motorcycle world also. He was instrumental in forming a Franchise in the motorcycle service industry with Bikers Bay. He is retired from the Dealer consulting business.
